Product Care

Our jewellery is born from a passionate quest, in favour of craftsmanship techniques and a careful selection of materials. Any irregularity in the colour and shape of used natural materials emphasizes its authenticity. The various processing techniques implemented guarantee its quality.

Due to the creative finesse and the use of natural materials, our products require care and attention to maintain their original characteristics for longer.

Your jewellery may turn black when coming into contact with the air for long. Oxidation is a natural process occurring to specific metals, namely brass and silver. Over time such metals tend to form a darker patina or to become opaque, losing brightness. This process is accelerated if the metal is exposed to water, detergents, chemicals, perfumes, chlorine, salt or body creams. Furthermore, it can also vary according to a more acidic pH of the skin on which it is worn.

We therefore recommend you not to wear jewellery during sports activities, showering and night sleep. Rather, we suggest you to gently polish them with a soft cloth periodically to keep their shine for a long time.

Your jewellery can be cleaned by soaking in warm water with a small amount of mild soap. In the event of machined details, where dirt gets difficult to remove, you can gently use a small soft toothbrush. With gold plated jewellery, the use of the toothbrush must be minimized to prevent erosion or wear off of the plating. Natural stones can be cleaned using a microfiber cloth soaked in water and a drop of 90 degrees alcohol. Rinse off and dry thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth.

As for jewellery made of sterling silver, you can bring it back to its original brilliance using a cloth soaked in a silver-cleaning product, keeping in mind that this will not remove scratches on the surface.

Your jewellery should be stored away from direct sunlight exposure and contact with heat sources. It should be placed in a protective fabric bag, such as the one supplied by us, although it is not sealed and therefore cannot be used for long-term storage. Alternatively store it in a jewellery box, possibly hermetic, to protect your jewellery from oxidation. You can also store it in airtight polyethylene bags. We suggest you not to store your jewellery in the bathroom or other damp place.
